This seems to be the million dollar question lately.  I’ve done a few but have mainly stuck to child and family photography.  After a lot of thought though I feel this is a genre of photography that I would like to branch out into.

My favorite part of wedding photography is engagment sessions.  This gives me a chance to meet the bride and groom so we can establish a relationship before the big event and get comfortable with each other.

And then there is the wedding of course (obviously not the same couple)!

So if you know anyone who is getting married please send them my way!

I love trying to capture the personalities of children.  Here he wanted to jump and boy did he!

I have a backlog of sessions to finish editing and am hard at work!  Some computer issues have set me back a few days so hang tight!  :)

I just love little ones in tutus!

I just love this grin!

Such a serious 3 month old.

My fave.

After briefly doing a few shots indoors…

We set off into the wilds of the greater Sacramento area.  We conquered trees…

Braved tall grasses…

Fought off man eating bugs (look closely and you can see them!)…

And waded across trecherous waters to the underside of bridges.

We barely made it out alive!  And although the conditions weren’t right for silhouettes I felt this one was kinda cool.

I tend to feature the belly in my maternity sessions. This one was perfect.

My personal fave.

Or have one to book a session with me?
