I recently traded portfolio photos for haircuts with my cousin who is going to start looking for a job as a hair sylist.  If anyone in the area is looking for a trim let me know!

My lovely cousin.  She needed a picture of herself to go along with her feature piece.

Her dad

And mom!

A few lovely models

This is her feature piece.  Gorgeous!  BTW this was taking under an overhang on a rainy day…so for those who are afraid of getting rained out of an outdoor session never fear…sometimes it can create come cool lighting.

I met up with some friends this evening for a family session.  I’ve worked with dogs…I’ve worked with newborns…and of course I’ve worked with (almost) 3 year olds…but all together?  Wowza!

Seriously look at this family!  All of them are gorgeous!  I did a fun session today with these kiddos, their parents, and their extended family…12 people total!  My husband is telling me its time to watch Friday the 13th (hey, Halloween is just around the corner!) so I’ll just share some of the kiddos for now.  :)

I gave this poor pending mama a good work out this evening!  Sit here! Lay there!  Jump up here! Up down up down up down!  Thanks for being such a good sport!  I had fun and can’t wait to meet your little bundle!

Thats what one of my 2 year olds says whenever he sees a pumpkin…”pumkin kinda orange”.  Silly boy!  We saw lots today when we met one of my favorite little clients at a local patch.  While my boys (who tagged along) climbed hay bails with their daddy we wandered around looking for fun spots to shoot.  Apparently we created quite the scene; my husband mentioned later that there were several people watching us from the giant mountain of hay.

I met with “C” and his parents this evening at the Arboretum.  He wasn’t very sure of me at first but eventually got into it.  Thanks for a fun session guys!

After the shoot in San Francisco I welcomed an engagment session in my own backyard.  Its rare that people find me who live in Winters; about 90% of my clients come from Sacramento.  We had a fun session taking advantage of some of the historic architecture.

This morning I met up with a bunch of local photographers in San Francisco for a group shoot.  We gathered a bunch of models and had some urban fun.

I had the pleasure to photographing a beautiful wedding yesterday.  I was a little concerned at first because it was pouring all morning, but once we got to the church the rain cleared up and stayed away for the rest of the day.

Here are a few shots

Vern’s mom made the dress…crazy!

yeah another ring shot…but I thought it was cool

I just adore this picture.  Maggie and Vern were married the same day as Vern’s grandparents.  Unfortunately his grandfather is no longer with them, so he shared a special dance with his grandmother.

Thanks for letting me join in your special day!

I loved this too much not to share.  We were doing yardwork yesterday afternoon getting ready to put our house on the market.  As my husband was hollaring for a trowel I spied this little guy and couldn’t help but stop and take some pics.
