This sweet sweet newborn is one of those who just have a happy demeanor.  She was constantly giving these sweet little newborn smiles and looked just so peaceful.  I swear at one point she even gave a little laugh.  I know that sounds nuts since she is only a little over a week old…it was just one of those funny little noises newborns make mixed with a gassy smile but I swear…it sounded just like a laugh!  Hopefully she’ll continue to bring lots of smiles and laughter to the newly expanded family.

Round two of mini sessions were a success!  I was fortunate to have some of my favorite past clients who are historically known to be awesome little models for me.  Here is a very small sampling of the cuteness.

Yesterday Dani and Kevin got hitched.  Their wedding was GOREGOUS!  The ceremony was held at the Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Sacramento.  The church boasted lots of yummy stained glass windows, awesome statues, and wonderful architecture.  Such an awesome place for a wedding!  I have so many great pictures I don’t even know where to begin. ..

This afternoon I was fortunate to spend time with this cute little one week old.  He was so good…letting me poke and prod and maneuver his little body in all sorts of different positions!  He was such a trooper, even when his not quite two brother attempted to maul him, lol.

I had a session last night with this gorgeous family.  I looked outside at about 1 pm and saw the rain clouds rolling in so I called up Mom and asked if we could bump the session up sooner.  Good thing we did because shortly after we finished the rain started!

Last night I had the pleasure of helping celebrate Meghan and Andy’s wedding.  It was very emotional, very beautiful, and lots of fun.

The ceremony was help at Joyful Ranch in Vacaville.  The ranch is over 100 years old and is very beautiful.

There were a lot of nice fall touches.

I love photographing kids at weddings.  They always bring a smile to my face.

The ceremony was very emotional…starting with the bride being walked down the aisle by her dad…

…the reading of the vows…

…even the guests were feeling it.

Things got a bit more lively at the reception with some fun dance moves.

Sorry I’ve been a bit mia lately. We had a last minute move to Davis and then I got sick…which led to even more sick. However with the miracle of modern medicine I am on the mend and even slowly getting back to work (if you can call what I do work!). Last night I met up with this GORGEOUS senior for some pictures. I always say the same thing about my seniors…how I’m not used to models that take direction and stand still…I love it! We walked around the park looking for good spots stopping here and there when we found one. I had fun, and she got to see my dorky side. Thanks so much for coming out!!
