Monday evening I met up with this family for a session at the arboretum.  The kids are growing up and they may not have another chance for a family portrait…so that is where I came in!

The sisters wanted one together…One just graduated and the other is entering her senior year.  Exciting times!

I asked for a serious face…and just love his hint of a smile.  Such a handsome young man!

After my newborn session Saturday I drove straight to Folsom to photograph a 5 year anniversary dinner.  Before the guests arrived we took a few shots out front.  Congrats guys!

Saturday I met this little cute.  His dad is a musician, so he soothed us all during the session while playing his guitar.  Little man did awesome and barely made a peep, even when he was unhappy!  Such a sweetie!

I spent the weekend in the bay area having a mini vacation with the family, shooting and Chinese banquet, and meeting this fun couple for an engagement session.  They are getting married in Hawaii and unfortunately (for me) already have a photographer booked…but wanted their engagement session back here in California on a beach.  This is where I stepped in!  We met at the beautiful Kehoe Beach towards the end of the day for an awesome session.  Enjoy!

And so my faithful readers…if you or anyone you know are getting married in some far off exotic place and need a photographer, please contact me for details!  I would love to be your destination photographer.  :)

Just a quickie before my laptop battery dies.  I can’t find all of my charger at the moment.  Argh!  Hopefully this will tide you over a bit.  Thanks so much!

I generally like to have my sessions shortly before the sun starts to set.  The lighting is super nice and soft at this time of day.  Unfortunately during the summer this sometimes mean shooting close to, or after bedtime for my littlest clients.  Luckily this little sweetie was really easy to work with.  Too cute!

Nick and Janet are probably wondering “where are my teasers!”  Their lovely wedding took place Monday evening and I finally have some down time to post them today!

Guys have it so easy.  While the girls were getting ready they were playing pool and messing around with some shuffleboard.

The ring bearer was the cutest!

This one totally makes me smile.  I love dancing grandmas!

This evening I did a huge extended family session at the UCD arboretum.  Of course its nice to get a mellow traditional shot of all the cousins looking at the camera…

…but my personal faves are when the kids can relax and have fun!

Last night I shot Larry and Wendy’s wedding at the Morgan Creek Country Club.  I’m in the middle of a busy day so this post will be short on words but heavy on pictures.  Enjoy!

Weren’t her shoes killer?

Always a fun time at the photo booth!  I hope to provide this service one day.  :)

Ice cream in lieu of cake!

It took a while for the party to get started…but once it did the dance floor was jumpin!  Special thanks to my bestie Bev (on the left) for introducing me to the awesome bride and groom!  :)

Thanks so much Larry and Wendy!  I had a great time.

I ended my memorial day weekend the same way I started…with an engagement session!  We met at Negro Bar in Folsom just before the sun went down.  The lighting was gorgeous and weather was lovely.  Towards the end of the session we drove downtown to the top of a parking garage for some shots at sunset.  Enjoy!
