Karisa and Derek were married Saturday night at a private residence in Clarksburg.  The room the ladies got ready in was filled with awesome natural light!

Check out her shoes…awesome!

Karisa and Derek were married on the front porch of the house.

I love how happy Derek’s mom looks!

On the way down the aisle Karisa had a wardrobe malfunction.  She handled it with grace!

The reception was held down at the boat house, overlooking the water.

The happy couple was serenaded by Karisa’s grandfather, uncle, and brother (hope I didn’t get that wrong!)

Congrats Karisa and Derek!!

I’ve known Nick for several years.  He is just a big teddy bear and one of the sweetest guys you’ll meet.  I was so happy when he asked me to photograph his marriage to Erin.  She is super cool and they just make the cutest couple!  They were married at the beautiful Hastings House in Half Moon Bay.  The middle of the day is generally not my favorite time of day lighting wise for photography…however we had a nice cloud cover that diffused the light beautifully!

Their reception was at Mezza Luna in Princeton-by-the-sea…home to some yummy Italian food!

I loved how Erin’s dress flowed after her dad twirled her.

He really went for that garter!!

Thanks for letting me join in your special day!!

Yo Jordan and Michelle!  Your pictures are killing me!  I’m having such a hard time picking my faves for the blog.  I know you’ve been anxiously waiting while soaking up the rays in Hawaii…so enjoy!

Nick and Janet are probably wondering “where are my teasers!”  Their lovely wedding took place Monday evening and I finally have some down time to post them today!

Guys have it so easy.  While the girls were getting ready they were playing pool and messing around with some shuffleboard.

The ring bearer was the cutest!

His goods

This one totally makes me smile.  I love dancing grandmas!

Last night I shot Larry and Wendy’s wedding at the Morgan Creek Country Club.  I’m in the middle of a busy day so this post will be short on words but heavy on pictures.  Enjoy!

Weren’t her shoes killer?

Always a fun time at the photo booth!  I hope to provide this service one day.  :)

Ice cream in lieu of cake!

It took a while for the party to get started…but once it did the dance floor was jumpin!  Special thanks to my bestie Bev (on the left) for introducing me to the awesome bride and groom!  :)

Thanks so much Larry and Wendy!  I had a great time.

I spent the majority of Memorial Day weekend enjoying the scenic views of South Lake Tahoe.  I didn’t meet the bride and groom before the big day…I was contracted by the bride’s dad about 6 weeks before.  So imagine my surprise when I was greeted by the groom with a huge hug and a “I know you!”  Turns out I went to high school with them, graduating the year before!  It was a fun day at a location that can’t be beat!

Katherine and Kevin’s wedding at The River Mill in French Camp was gorgeous!  The grounds are meticulously maintained and the historic old chicory mill is a great backdrop.  The ceremony was in the morning and I’ll be honest in revealing that I was a bit nervous.  The actual location where the ceremony was held, while gorgeous, also had a photographers worst enemy…dappled light!  In the end everything came out beautifully…so lovely in fact that Im mostly going to blog pictures from the ceremony (which I normally don’t do!).  So…enjoy!

Meet the lovely bride!

And of course the groom

I am so in love with her sideways glances!

Last night I spent the evening photographing a very special couple.  I’ve known Josh for YEARS and was honored when he asked me to photograph their wedding at the lovely historical Hotel Woodland.  Their friends and family have so much character which made for a great evening (and a tough time narrowing pictures down for these teasers).  So sit back and enjoy!

Josh’s daughter is the cutest thing ever.  I could photograph her all day!

Meghan and Josh had a dessert table and originally wasn’t going to have a wedding cake.  They  changed their minds days before and ordered this sight unseen from Timothy’s Bakery.  Gorgeous!

Let me just say, this is the coolest grandma ever!!

Finally I want to give a shout out to Josh of Firehouse Entertainment…aka DJ/MC extraordinaire!  He kept things moving along and on schedule, didn’t have the music blaring (a complaint I often hear at weddings) and was extremely well organized.  Check him out!

Meet Emilio and Xochitl.  I first met them 2 years ago for family pictures with their 9 month old little cutie.  Whenever I go to anyone’s home I can’t help but check out the pictures hanging on their walls.  The first thing I noticed at their house was all the wedding pictures.  So, imagine my surprised when Xochitl called me up last month to shoot their wedding.  They decided to do it again, but this time in the church.

I love the tradition and symbolism in Catholic weddings.

Little “X” had the best seat in the house!

Edible table decorations!  Needs I say more? Yum!

I loved this kid!  The most chubbiest, cutest little guy ever!

So pretty.
