The sweet sister in these photos go to school with my boys. Their family won the gift certificate I donated to the school’s auction last spring. I had never met her brother, and it was so fun seeing them out of the school environment. 🙂

This was probably my most favorite family session of 2013.  With the kids all grown and out of the house, it can be tough getting everyone back together for family portraits.  We met up on a frigid December morning, with frost still on the ground and frozen breath.  😀

3 1/2 years ago I lived in the small community of Winters.  It has a cute historic downtown area and is surrounded by orchards, but there wasn’t a great nature area to photography portraits in.  Of course, the same year we moved to Davis the town underwent some major development.  A nature trail was made giving easier and safer access to the creek, which has opened up so many great spots for photography.  We ventured down there for this gorgeous maternity session.  I can’t wait until their newborn session!

A few months ago we took over the family walnut orchard for a super fun engagement session. In the end we went all around Winters for some great shots. That top one is probably in my top faves. 🙂

This family is always so fun to photograph.  The kids are well behaved and listen well…not to mention they are as sweet as can be!  We did a mixture of both their immediate and extended family during their session.  Enjoy!

The holidays are fast approaching, which means there are not enough hours in the day for me to keep up with blogging. Its always on my mind though! Here is a great family I photographed recently. We’ve gotten together several time in the Napa area and all the way up to Nevada City. It was fun having them in my neck of the woods this time! Enjoy. 🙂

These three gorgeous girls currently live far far away…Japan to be exact!  They were in the area visiting family and I had the pleasure of updating their portraits.

I first photographed this family a couple of years ago.  They have since expanded in numbers and needed some updated portraits.  We met at my current favorite location for a good time.

Twins!  These two’s interaction reminded me so much of my two nutty kids.  They are just so silly with each other!
